Tobin's Ventures
Five ideas for a better Ventures screen. Every demo works.
1Watchlist with price lines
One clean row per venture: its icon, a bigger price line, the price and a coloured change pill. A small coin badge shows what you own, and the pill can switch between change, worth and gain.
2Big chart you can scrub
Drag across the chart to see any past price, with a crosshair and a tooltip in the same style as Stats. Range chips switch how far back it looks, and the line goes green or red against the start of that range.
3Your position card
For each venture you own: shares, what you paid on average, what they are worth now and your gain. A coloured bar shows how your shares are split, and a second bar shows how close you are to Tobin's limit.

4Buy and sell sheet
A sheet slides up from the bottom with Buy and Sell, a slider, quick amounts and a preview of the cost, your gold after, and how much of Tobin's limit it uses. No more fixed Buy 1, Buy 10 buttons.
5Tobin's news on the chart
Each big piece of Tobin's news becomes a small icon pinned to the chart where it happened, so you can see why a price jumped. The list under it shows his lines, and picking one lights up its spot.
The other five ideas
- Price alerts. Set a bell on a venture and Tobin tells you in town when it drops under or climbs over your price.
- Risk dots. One to five dots per venture (Moonmilk one, Dragon Eggs five) in place of the long description line.
- Compare two. Lay two ventures on one chart as percent change, to see which did better.
- Trade history. A list of every buy and sell with the price and gain, plus total gain made so far.
- Top movers. A strip at the top with the biggest jump and the biggest drop since your last visit.
Mock data only. Prices follow each venture's real rules from the game (storms, eggs, ghosts, the pull back to its starting price, floor and ceiling).
